TV Review #4

TV Series Review #4: Reign
Creator: Laurie McCarthy, Sephanie Sengupta
Actors: Adelaide Kane, Megan Follows, Toby Regbo, Torrance Coombs
IMDB Score: 7.7/10

Reign is a CW network series created by Laurie McCarthy and Sephanie Sengupta. The show is based on Mary, Queen of Scots. Throughout the show, Mary faces with different problems politically and also in her relationship with Francis.

I really enjoy Reign as the show created really interesting plotlines every single episode, almost all of the episodes didn't disappoint in fact, there is some really shocking twist in some of the episode which my jaw literally dropped when I watch it.

I would recommend this show to people who love history, romance and politics. Overall Reign is a really promising show that has been renewed for season 3 which is going to be aired soon on October 9th 2015.
I would rate this show a 8/10

Movie Review #3

Movie Review #3: Interstellar
IMDB Score: 8.7/10

Interstellar is a 2014 sci-fi movie directed by Christopher Nolan, starring Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway.

This film is set in a post-apocalyptic world where a team of astronauts were sent on a mission to travel through a wormhole to search for a new planet that is suitable for humans to live in. They must find it before the entire humanity is wiped out and there will be no one else left to save.

Interstellar starts out pretty boring and confusing and will only get more confusing as time goes on. But everything will be compensated by the intense ending. Every piece of information given throughout the movie was to build up to the epic ending. Towards the end, even though everything starts to add up, you will still need to spend some time before you can fully understand the whole idea. I thought I would not enjoy the movie much because of the dry introduction, but the movie gets interesting as the story progresses. Other than this, I cannot reveal anything else as that will spoil the whole experience of watching the movie.

The music and the sound effects was also spectacular and adds to the tension throughout the movie.

Also, I have to give credits to the actors and actresses in the film who truly brought the movie to life.

Overall, the movie was mind-blowing and really awesome. It is definitely a must watch.

We gave it a 8.5/10

TV Series Review #3 : Fear The Walking Dead

Fear The Walking Dead is the spin-off of the hit TV series The Walking Dead. I really like the concept of this spin-off as it depicts the start of the zombie apocalypse which is not shown in the original The Walking Dead.

The first episode of Fear The Walking Dead didn't seem to capture me that much, it starts off really slow paced introducing all the different characters, only towards the end, the shows starts to get more interesting. Also the acting really didn't impress me that much, it is just alright, not too good or too bad.

The second episode is so much more fast-paced and so much more interesting. There is a scene where the police starts shooting zombies but people thought that they are shooting normal people, this scene is so realistic, it feels like it could actually happen in real life.

Overall, I will definitely continue this series as I feel that it will really gets better in time. I would definitely recommend this series to The Walking Dead fans and zombie film lovers.

IMDB Score: 8.0/10

Comic-Con Trailer Review #3

Comic-Con Trailer Review #3: Heroes Reborn

The trailer starts off with telling us that the enhanced human are being hunted. In the trailer we get to see the different people in this series and some of their powers, like, flying and invincibility. We also get to see some of the original cast in the show. The trailer looks pretty good and the effects are really well done. I have no idea what is happening at the end with the red sky. SO MANY QUESTIONS!!

In conclusion, the trailer of Heroes Reborn look pretty promising, however, I don't think it could meet up to the standard of the original Heroes. I still can't wait to watch it though. It comes out this Fall!!

Comic Con Trailer Review #2

Comic-Con Trailer Review #2: Superman Vs. Batman

Watch the trailer!!

This is so exciting!! I think we get to see a lot in this trailer which makes us so excited to watch. Questions like who is good or who is bad pops up in my mind.

The trailer shows Superman trying to be a hero and Batman is not really happy about it thinking that he have the power to wipe out the entire universe which is why Batman wants to fight and destroy Superman. We actually get to see Lex Luthor and also a glimpse of Wonder-Woman in the trailer is always great.

The visual effects are so cool and so well done. Really loving the trailer.
I feel that the trailer really makes people excited to watch the movie, I for one am going to watch it and also review.

Superman Vs. Batman is set to release on 25 March 2016

Movie Review #2: Jurassic World

Let's just start off with I LOVE THIS MOVIE!! I am intrigued by how well they execute the story line. Jurassic Park franchise is definitely one of my favourite movies ever and to be honest, by watching the trailer, it doesn't look that promising because of the hybrid dinosaurs and the controlling of the raptors. But thanks to the Director, Colin Trevorrow and the Writers it is done pretty well.

The plot of Jurassic World is basically how we humans get more greedy and wanting a dinosaur that is much more interesting which is why they created a hybrid dinosaur which then break out of its cage and causes chaos.

What I like about the movie is that the acting are pretty good. The story also make sense (Thanks to the writers and director). BUT of course what I like most about the movie is there are DINOSAURS!! They are really cool.

There is a sequel coming our way which is really exciting. This movie is also one of the highest movies debuts EVER!!

Jurassic World got a score of 7.4/10 on IMDB

PS. Salute to Bryce Dallas Howard for running in heels the whole movie

TV Series Review #2

Proof is a show with really interesting show with a really good concept which I really liked. The show does not really execute it that well and it gets boring some time... But after every episode there are some improvements made.
So, the show is basically about a surgeon who is trying to proof that live after death is possible, on this journey she met with interesting people who almost died and witness the live after death experience. After episodes have different sub-plot and some of them are pretty interesting.

I really hope that this show continues to improve and get better as I really feel that this show could be a really good show.
IMDB Score: 7.0

Comic Con Trailer Review #1

Comic Con Trailer Review #1 : Fear The Walking Dead
Airing date: August 23

Let's start off with how intrigued the trailer looks. I thought it would be just like The Walking Dead, but it looks quite different from it as it is about a whole family surviving it, which is pretty interesting. Also it is set n Los Angeles which let's us look at how the virus affects other parts of the country.

Fear the Walking Dead also shows us how the Zombie Apocalypse started which is shown in the trailer which didn't really get to see in The Walking Dead.

There are also many intense moments in the trailer, I think that the show is really promising and is really excited to watch it.

TV Series Review #1: Scream: The TV Series

Ok. Scream: The TV Series... I am a huge fan of the Scream series and when I found out about the Scream TV series, I am excited yet nervous that it might not meet up to the movie's standard. I have to say, it kinda meet up to it's standard which is so great.

Scream The TV Series start out with the killing scene just like every other Scream movies. The scene is good but I feel like it is a little too rush. After the scene, we get to know more about each and every character in the show, which is cool, and it will get us emotional when each character die especially when the show is nearing the end as we connect with the characters.

The change of the Ghostface mask is quite a big deal and I am glad that it actually works. I thinks it is actually scarier than the original which is always a good thing.

Although, the show is pretty good, I think that some of the actors could improve their acting as they are kinda new at it and their acting are a little stiff.

In my opinion, I think that Scream: The TV Series is pretty good after watching the pilot episode and I am really excited to continue watching it and find out who the killer is. Hopefully the series gets better after each episode.
I will give the pilot of Scream: The TV Series a 7.5/10.
The score on IMDB is 7.7/10.

Book Review #1

Book Review #1: An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir
An Ember in the Ashes is about a slave girl named Laia and a soldier boy, Elias. The Martials are the ruler of the world in An Ember in the Ashes and the scholars are the ones who live in harsh environments under the Martials rule. I shouldn't say too much about the plot, so you guys have to read the book yourself.
I love that the book is really fast paced, it starts with an intense chapter until the last page of the book. The book is also written in dual perspective of Laia and Elias which is great, you will get to witness the lives of both a slave and a soldier.
Overall, I really enjoyed the book, it is really interesting, fast-paced and also it is really intense.
Hopefully Sabaa Tahir keeps up with the good work. This is definitely one of the best books I have read this year.
I would give this book a 4.5/5

Movie Review #1

Movie Review #1: Insidious: Chapter 3
Insidious Chapter 3 is actually the prequel to the first 2 Insidious movies. The movie is about a haunting that Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) took care of before the Lambert family's haunting.
The haunting happen a girl named Quinn Brenner (Stefanie Scott) who tried to contact her mother who have passed away, instead of contacting her mother, she contacted an evil supernatural entity that haunts her.
Although this is not the best Insidious movie out of the three, I still think it is a pretty good addition to the Insidious movies. I could really connect with the characters and I really wishes nothing happens to them. However, most of the jump scares might be quite predictable for fans of the horror genre.
All in all, I think that Insidious Chapter 3 is really a decent horror film that is quite scary and also with a really interesting plot.
I rated the movie 7 out of 10 on IMDB
Hope you guys enjoy the review and find it useful
